Cape Kiwanda Sea Cave #1005
A misty day on the Oregon coast at Cape Kiwanda, perfect weather for the steep climb up the sand dunes to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the sandstone bluffs, sea caves, and iconic "haystack" sea stack just offshore. This area is the traditional home of the Tillamook and Nestucca tribes. The sea stack is named Chief Kiawanda Rock, after a well-known chief from the Nestucca tribe in the early 1800s.
