River's Edge, Winter (triptych) #606
A triptych of winter color studies incorporating natural materials from the Pacific Northwest river marsh landscape. Inspired by winter white-out skies and delicate patterns of frost, the deep blues of clear ice, and the rich browns of frozen muddy riverbanks.
Each individual panel is 5.5" wide x 6" high x 3/4" deep. The panels are float mounted on a single board and framed in natural finish, solid maple wood. The frame profile is 1/2" wide x 2" deep.

Caring for encaustic wax paintings
To wipe clean and restore natural luster and shine, buff smooth surfaces gently with a soft, disposable, lint-free cloth. Like all artwork, avoid placing the work in direct sunlight, leaving the art directly in front of a heater or in a hot car. Wax melts at 140°F.Encaustic wax, found objects and copper leaf on board, 2016
