For the next eight days, I will be working on abstract encaustic wax paintings at the Marjie Mabel Project artist residency in Vancouver, Washington.
This was a challenging painting for me, but it’s finished and I’m happy with it! It took me outside my comfort zone in both scale and composition.
This month, I spent a week traveling and painting along the Oregon coast from Cannon Beach to Port Orford, south of Bandon.
