The utility of natural forms creates their beauty. This was my inspiration for the Urchin Bowls series, in response to thinking about art / craft, sculptural / functional, and unique / repeated form.I created over 30 unique porcelain and stoneware Urchin Rice Bowls, a Glass Urchin, and a Living Urchin with bronze spines.
